Breath

The breath helps every day, every situation that arises. It helps in ways we never expect.

2 Main Skills

1- Kickstart

Takes 3 minutes in morning, boosts energy for the day.

Simply breath deeply for 2 minutes then hold the breath at the end of the last outbreath. Every athlete feels a boost in energy.

2- Slow Outbreath

Takes 8-10 seconds, do at least 3-5

Feels effortless, all tension drops away like a light switched off. Try slowing down more than you ever have. It almost feels like holding breath, but the air goes slowly and we relax our whole body.

Expansion starts low and rises, this expansion is 360°. That means we feel our back expand behind us, not just the belly rising. We can flatter ourselves for being a good “belly breather”, when our back is locked and core only expands forward. When we do this, our belly dumps forward and core control is lost.

You might feel this your first breath or it may take practice. You will feel something after the 2 min Wind Up.

Breath is more powerful than anything other than posture. Posture gives a foundation for the breath.
